Richard Sturdy, age 70, of Hays, Kansas passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas. He was born September 8, 1955, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the New Life Center Assembly of God Church, 1701 East 22nd Street, Hays, Kansas with Pastor Brad Good, Officiating. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. Saturday, at New Life Center Assembly of God Church.
The family suggests memorials payable to: New Life Center for “Sound Equipment” in care of Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary of Hays, 1919 East 22nd Street, Hays, Kansas.
